79590: Hello,
I am writing my thesis on interim measures pertaining to Art 8 of regulation 1/2003, thus the Commission's use of interim measures in accordance with said article. My thesis focuses on measures that can be taken when the competition risks suffering serious and irreparable damage due to a refusal to license a certain intellectual property. However, problems have arisen as I have tried to find information on the statistics regarding Commission's decisions to act as described in Art 8 when there is a risk of infringement. My question is statistical rather than material, as I would like to receive information on how many times Commission has decided to interfere, firstly according to Art 3 of the 17/62 regulation from 1980 (Camera Care Case) and secondly when the new regulation 1/2003 and its Art 8 went into force. Is there any statistics regarding this matter that I may find either online or somewhere else?
Best regards,
Caroline
