the one about true awesomeness

You guys all know that I went to New York with the slightly unusual purpose to rest. And that is mostly what I have been doing. However I have found a way to schedule some time for a few rest related things, such as getting a massage, eating, drinking, listening to jazz and a lecture about the NGO for which S is working, shopping and having coffee. There is not a lot to say about those things, except maybe that S seems so be saving the world. Good thing someone is. Then I probably won't have to.

I have been spending some quality me time, mostly dedicated to sleeping and shopping. So I figured if I'm ever going to be a fashion blogger, now is the time. The fierce items below were shot on Stephanie's bed. She lives in an emprisoned dump, but her bed is quite comfy. (FYI, I was not in the shoot and will therefore not appear on the photos).

Kakis, $ 3,99, The Frälsningsarmén, Brooklyn
White cotton gloves, $ 6,99, and turkoise/purple sunglasses, $ 10, Beacon's Closet, Brooklyn

Shoes, $ 99, Steve Madden
Vitamine water, Defense, $ 1,50, found in every deli
DVDs, "Young @ heart" and "Little women", East Village

Vintage dress, $ 22, Beacon's Closet, Brooklyn

Swedish at heart, thus I did some obligatory H & M shopping in Soho as follows.

Pale blue 50's bikini, $ 29,99, H & M, Spring st and Broadway
Black tube top onesie, $ 59,99, (adress above)

I am truly pleased with what I have been able to accomplish as far as clothing goes. I have also run several errands for those who ordered stuff, which I had a great success doing. Now I hope I'm ready to go home and take the nationalekonomi classes. It is going to suck severely. You can expect me tomorrow at 2 pm.

XOXO
